Currently coaching Boys and Girls Soccer Programs at Caldwell Academy. Former NCAA Associate Head Coach with 15 years experience at D1 level.
Bair enters his second season as the head men's soccer coach. In his first season, the Quakers finished 6-8-4 with a conference record of 4-5-1 falling in the ODAC Quarterfinals.
Mike Bair was named the head men's soccer coach in March of 2022. Bair comes to Guilford after serving as the men’s soccer head coach at Mary Baldwin University from 2019 through 2021. During his time as the leader of the Fighting Squirrels, he led a brand new NCAA Division III men’s soccer program.
In 2019, Mary Baldwin clinched a berth in the USA South playoffs. Additionally he coached four all-conference players including the conference’s Rookie of the Year.
Prior to his time at Mary Baldwin, Bair was an assistant coach at Geneva College in Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania. From 2010-18, the Golden Tornadoes went 109-49-25, six-straight postseason appearances, one Presidents’ Athletic Conference (PAC) Championship. Geneva made an NCAA Tournament appearance and an ECAC Semifinal appearance.
Bair holds a United Soccer Coaches (formerly NSCAA) National Diploma as well as Goalkeeping Level I and II Diplomas. He earned his master of arts in higher education and bachelor of science in business administration from Geneva College where he also played collegiate soccer.
Mike is married to his wife, Megan, and they have two daughters, Lily and Emily.
Bryan is the current Boys Varsity Assistant Coach and former Boys Dialectic Head Coach at Caldwell. He has a strong background at Caldwell both as a coach and as a player. Bryan is an alum of both NC Fusion FC and Caldwell Academy soccer programs. Bryan went on to play collegiate soccer at NCAA Division 2 National Champions, Wingate University. He has over eight years of coaching experience, helping both teams and individual players reach their maximum potential.
Valencia earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy Degree from High Point University and is developing a youth athlete injury prevention program. She has an athletic background from playing competitive soccer to being a Level 1 CrossFit Coach. Her experience has led her to work with active individuals to remain pain free, prevent injuries, and perform at their highest level.
